Guys, I have changed my provider and now I can't get to some sites, Telstra says I need to have an IT look into it and update the dns settings, it was working fine before, any help appreciated.

is it Bigpond you've gone with or someone else?????????????? You're service provider should be able to talk you through it over the phone mate........... sorry but I'm not clever enough in the matters to be able to help.

G'day clunk, nah I had had a gut full of e-wire and went with Telstra, all good but One forum I can't get, telstra says "employ an IT person" lol
It can't be that hard to update a dns provider surely, It's only buttons lol.
I need someone to talk me ( the missus) through it.
Thanks for the reply mate.
Cheers, the ferret.

I take it this is in regards to your own web site Rod?

Hi Patch, nah, the website is in hand, I changed my provider and now I can't get patrol4x4, I have customers asking questions via email notifications and can't log the site.
I rang Telstra ( my new provider)and they just said "get an IT as we can't do anything his end " But I had to escape from E-wire, down 3 days out of 5 lol
Cheers, the ferret.

Have you tried clearing your cookies. Not the ones you eat but the ones your internet client saves (IE, Firefox etc)
