Hey folks. Thought I better check in. Am new to forums but not new to 4x4. Been around a patrol or two. Looking forward to chating with you guys and exchanging ideas and the likes. One day when I work this all out I will try to get an Avatar and some pics going. See ya round.

Hey guys. Good to chat. Had a look around the site. Looks great. Made a few posts and comments, heaps of reading to do. Info bout me eh. Just got rid of my old girl ( 03 wagon ZD30) 245000km's. Good old bus except for the cracked head and rear main seal. Was looking into engine transplants rather than rebuild and ended up trading on a new one. Got a new job in Darwin and don't have time for Bullet conversion. Got a reasonable trade and they let me strip her and make her as nissan did. Just waiting on my new ST to get here to fit all the fruit back up. Am in rocky at present clunk 71, unfortunately will be gone by Xmas. Was planning to see allot more before I left WA. Was only here 4 months... and the weather has been crap. Ah well just gonna have to make my way back some day, unrucky.

I too have two Patrols ((Y60s) with leaky rear main seals. Right now, it is a lot easier and cheaper to top up the oil than fix it. Maybe when winter is over here, I'll get to it.

cheers guys. not wrong bout the rear main being easier to top up than fix. Gotta fix before nissan will take her off me. Should be fun in the driveway.
