G'Day All

Names Dan, got a young fam and live north Brisbane near GH mountains... Really into offroading and modding my rigs along with riding my XVS1100.

Just bought my second patrol "Mav" and am in the process of builder her up to the same standard my last rig was "GQ Dual cab featured in 4wd action". This time i have a low K TD42 with aftermarket ARB turbo kit and aftermarket front mount intercooler. Loving the rig over my last motor wich was the TB42.

Reason for going back to the patrol was i made the mistake of buying a jeep between the two. Nough said! hahaha.

Anyway, ill go and post some shots in the members section. See yas round ey.

Welcome to the forum Dan.
Random is right, we do like photo's. I'm a big fan of Patrol dual cabs so some pics of your old rig would be great too.

cheers guys, yeah, the jeep .....mmmm. Lets put it this way, the sticker "ITS A JEEP THING" refers to the feeling of absolute joy when you see it driving away from your house never to be seen again hahaha. I found it weak as piss mechanically, a massive pain in the ass to work on and modify, way too hard to get parts for in Australia that are in stock without a massive muck around and delay. Thirsty as a camel having its first drink too.

Asside from those points its great to look at, thats about it hahaha.

I had it for 6 months, bought it stock and spent 7 grand in this time frame on all new gear to jack it up, modify, tyres rims ect ect. With all this outlay i only drove it 3 times and broke it every time to the point of limping back, jeeps arent built for where i take my rigs. The unibody was also a massive set back in overall strength.

Cant beat a nissan!
