I was just flicking through the channels and once again shtie on TV , then I came across a game AUSTRALIA V IRELAND ...WTF, have never seen anything like this. It's AFL cross soccer

I quite like the International rules footy........ bit of a mix of AFL and Gaylick and its a faster flowing game, none of this stupid throw in from the boundary line by the official.

I personally would rather watch the queen than that "mixed rules" form of AFL/Gaelic football. What a crock. AFL invented it just so they could have an international series (like rugby, rugby league, soccer, etc). Well when they're playing AFL overseas at a high enough level then that's when they can have an international series. So AFL get off your backside and invest in the game overseas (yes I know they already are but need to do more), bring it up to competitive standard and then lets have nations play each other. Don't serve me up some rubbish code that is actually not ever played in that format except for these exhibition matches. Nobody takes it seriously and I certainly couldn't give a toss about it.
