Hi i have a 98 Patrol Wagon Intercooled turbo diesel. How do i find out what size the engine is? Is it a 3L or a 4.2L? Where would i find this info or does someone know what it would be. Cheers

The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) will give you this information and more.

Have a look at the vehicle compliance plate it will tell you what engine you have.

It will more then likely be the 2.8L or 4.2L then the 3L.

It will be a 2.8l RD28ETi.
'98 TD42T diesel was not intercooled and the 3l didn't come out until 2000.
