Primus hot water units - Feedback

Has anyone had any experience with the Primus hot water units?

After reading some reviews I have heard a lot of negative feedback with difficulty in igniting the pilot and many cases of the pilot safety cutting off quite regularly whilst half way through the shower which is not a good sign on those freezing mornings in the bush...

Just wondering if anyone has one, tried one, seen one and can give any feedback?

I'm trying to build my camper trailer and on the look out for bargain items and have an opportunity to get one very cheap but after hearing some negative reviews I'm thinking twice.

FWIW...Coleman seem to be the best reviews so far.

Not sure on the Primus mate but I have a as new Coleman with bag and extra hoses if you are interested...not sure on the price mate PM me if you're keen.

Andy I've got one I bought off a clubbie but haven't used it yet so can't give you a review but have heard they are good, just a little fiddly to control temps.

a mate is looking at domestic instantaneous hot water systems for camping. He's shown me some kits on line from USA, interesting.
