Braided brake lines

Would anyone know if the braided caliper to diff lines, the short ones, are now illegal. Was told that they have now become illegal as they are short and prone to cracking. Sounds like a crock, but thought I better check before disaster strikes. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Have not heard that mate, sounds like a crock of crap though to be honest.

My Braided lines are DOT rated and therefore a quality product.

Mate..... I hope it wasn't a mechanic that told you that???

If it was I'd find another or at least ask this person how this problem should be remedied....... (that would prove to be interesting)
