2013 it opens up to other manufacturers again mate. Am looking forward to that, but not sure AWD will be allowed again!

wouldnt mind seeing some Alfas, Bmers and Mercs (all V8's) ohhhhhhhhhhhh yeah, bring on the Nissans!!!!! lol

I turned on the TV, tried both the "7" channels but all I can see are ads!

The worst coverage I think I've had to put up with in all the years (40 odd) I have had TV.

Think I'm turning into one of those grumpy old men, bastages.

I like both Tander and Loundsey. Craig had the talent to pass and Garth had the talent to block so I knew it would be good.

I just love the way they drive with such precision ..... riveting to watch.

Was a brilliant race. If Lowndes had 1 more lap, he would have taken the race. He had more left in his car than Tander.

So who is gonna win the championship? If Lowndsie can be consistent for the last 4 rounds he will take it. He has a 100 point lead over Whincup. Go the Lowndes.

Can not find a way to like Tander, but man he can drive and his team is amazing.

Great precision from Lowndes and Tander during those last laps.

'11 was a great race and congrats to all who had a "red hot go" and how good were those fire marshalls?

But Mr Ford stop being a Tight A##e and bring the competition back to how it was. Bring on the other manufacturers.

you guys really want other manufacturers to race?
you do realise the v8 DTM cars are much faster than the V8's are, i can see it lasting about 1 year, then every aussie will whinge that no aussie cars ever win and they will put it back to the way it is now

DTM cars will not be racing in the Australian V8 Supercars. If they did they would have to change all the aero packages on them not to mention suspension and alot of other cr@p. They would have to go back to the old days and re-introduce the different classes. The V8 Supercar series is based on Australian made V8 production cars. About the only other car that may be introduced at this stage is a Toyota or even possibly Mitsibishi/Chrysler.

Whoever enters the class will have to comply with project blueprint or the latest incarnation.
Basically the same car with a different engine.
