Ok as per my other post about flywheel horror stories, I am about to order the heavy duty kit from 4terrain to convert my dual mass to a solid and replace the clutch. For those who have done this themselves... Are there any tips or parts I should attend to while the box comes out?
Thought I'd ask for some opinions before we attack it just in case there are some other springs or bearings or (specialty) tools we may need.
Cheers

The gearbox cross-member bolts can get corroded and snap when removing, and some times the flywheel bolts can pull some of the thread out when removing would recommend that these are replaced, also the rear main seal while the box is out. sinful.

Cearfully check the clutch fork for wear and replace if nessesery all so replace the thrust and spigot bearings but these should come with the clutch kit. Also check the clutch slave cylinder if any sign of a leak replace with a new on. It`s not advisable to rekit the old one as the bore is likely to be worn and if honed it removes the hard coating from the bore and it wont be long before it will leak again

Hey thanks fellas, great tips.
Ended up getting someone else to do it as it was only an extra $300-400. Not worth my hassles as I currently don't have the space nor time to deal with it. Would have liked to do it myself so I know exactly what things looked like while under there though.
Have already put up a report on what the changes are like to help others out deciding whether to go down this route.
Also decided on exedy safari tuff clutch kit over the 4terrain in the end. Report can be found at http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/showthread.php?7922-Solid-Flywheel-amp-Safari-Clutch-on-ZD30-DONE!!
Cheers
