For anybody in the Illawarra, Sydney and South coast areas there is a clean up weekend planned for 15th-16th October at Yalwal NSW.
For anybody that has been to Yalwal will know the place is awesome for anybody that owns a 4WD, trailbike, canoe, tent, whatever, its just a really good spot with some really good trails.
Some guys on the 4WD action forum have organised a cleanup and track repair weekend to make sure that the place is looked after. With places like this getting closed off over time I think it's really important to show the relevant authorities that we care about the place and that we want it kept open and we're willing to get our hands dirty in return.
So if anyone lives nearby tell SWMBO that its compulsory community service and that you have to attend. Many guys are planning to camp on the Sat night so there should be ample opportunity for a ripping fire and few cold beverages. :cheers:
