Hi all
Does any one know a trick to easily remove inner axle seals??? mine is proving to be a bit of a bugger.

Grab an angle grinder and where the seal is just cut the housing off and pull the seal out. lmfao

Mate they are a bit of a prick I used screw drivers as levers and multi grips to rip the thing out. And be careful replacing they are prone to getting damaged

putting the back is ok is just getting the bastards out my seal remover is not effective

there is a t shaped hooked tool for removing those seals that works quite well - Trade Tools have them, and I'm sure others do. Kinda like a little sheet metal old fashioned anchor on a long handle.

yeah thats what ive been using.. i got mine from auto barn and got change for 10 bucks. I ended up using the edge of a cold chisel that made short work of it without damaging the housing
