For my RE4R03A gearbox rebuild I used the GQ workshop manual and the following manual / breakdown of parts.
Below link: I think this manual is more for the RE4R01A Gearbox, but it did help me out anyway and might help anyone else doing a rebuild

Could be anything really, worn clutch pack....... the list is endless. Best bet is 2 take it to a Transmission specialist who might be able 2 tell you the problem and cost involved in repairs without stripping it down

A faulty solenoid should show in the fault codes. The resistances of all the solenoids can be check from the TCU plug if you can get a copy of the TCU pinouts.
Could also be a sticky piston in the valve body if the servicing hasn't been regular.

I think about it to. The other day, in the presence of time I'm going to change valve body. If the problem is not in it, I'll change gearbox. How will I do this, I'll write what was the matter. The benefit is a spare gearbox in stock and 1 more for spare parts. Thank you))

If you can get a 2nd valve body, it will more than likely have the solenoids still attached so you could check them first before installing. I would also dismantle and clean the valve body before fitting, it's not hard to do.
Do you have a workshop manual for the RE4R03A?
