Here are a few favourite snaps of my Troll called "Imvubu" (which means hippo in Zulu). She has just over 240000 km on the clock and currently sports a Frontrunner full length roof rack, Ironman coils, TJM shocks and solenoid controlled trailer battery charging wiring. She rolls on 285/75R16 BFG Mud Terrain KM2 tyres. Most of the pictures are pre suspension lift, though.

Wow that elephant does not look happy mate, must be a landcrab (Landcruiser) fan...great photos, thanks for sharing them with us

I was actually with a couple of guys from the Land Cruiser Club of Southern Africa on that trip and that picture was taken by a friend out of an 80 Series Crooza, so I am not sure if it was the Troll or the Toy that was the source of irritation and I was not going to hang around and find out. Those Tembe elephants are huge, intimidating buggers with massive tusks (even when compared to other African elephants). Here are some more pics from the same trip:

Mate, it's my dream to go there one day and cruise around ........one day.

Tas, there are a couple of standard number plate shapes that can be used legally in South Africa and that one is the one that fits the number plate mounting area on the Patrol the best. Hope I understood the question correctly?

I thought we had it bad coming around corners to see a kangaroo in the middle of the road but an elephant is a different story...lol
