Forum to be on new plan

We have ran out of memory for the forum. This is the amount of memory the forum has which is why we cannot upload photos to the forum.

I have to increase the plan which will be happening in the next 24 hours....I'll keep you all updated if the forum needs to be closed for a bit.

Praying that nothing goes wrong...lol

Anyways, well done everyone, we have sucked up all of our resources...LMAO

We have a shipload of photos on here which is a good thing. Now.....I do not.....Repeat, do not want any donations or any more money but this higher plan is starting to get expensive to run for me so I will have to find some advertisers for the sidebar menu to keep this free for all of us.

I don't want adds more then you don't but unfortunately we have to do this so no one is out of pocket and you guys and girls don't have to donate money, etc.

Unfortunately I may need to outsource some advertising on here. I will only contact 4wd shops, products and related industries to be on that side bar.

This may take a while anyway....

We need to keep up with the huge growth rate of this forum and I'm sure most of the regular members are ready to throw in a little to help out.

Put simply, I'd pay to be in a members area. The wealth of info I have learnt from here and also the passion it has given me working on my truck with the guidance of you lot (apparantly it makes me bogen working on the rig lol) has saved me thousands of dollars. I'm certainly happy to give back.

I know I would be willing to be a financial member of this forum and I reckon many of the regulars would be keen too.

Simply put, NO. But there are other actions that need to be taken be able to implement this kind of system. eg. revenue from the forum, tax implications, etc.
I'm not an expert but I'm sure there would be implications, hope I'm wrong.


I'm a member of another forum where they have a "DONATE" button. I'm thinking this may be a way around it.

Any ways I'll leave it to the guru.

This Forum is one big happy family at the present and I for one wish it to continue this way.

We need to be very careful in how we go about any changes.

Agreed. The only way to keep this "Free for Members" is to have sponsors pay for advertising. This will keep the forum running without having the members segregated into "Classes" everyone will be the same.

i am a member of a Rifle club and that aint cheap, this cover`s all our insurance ect , something i think we need to maintain here.

i believe it would be very fair to Andy for us to have some $$ input to maintain the High quality of the OUR forum that he has worked so hard to achive.
this would keep the wolve`s off his back, and maybe pay for any little extra`s : ie sticker`s banners ,stubbie holder`s ect .

Subscribe voluntarily, lets say $50.00 p.a.
No special treatment or privilages.
Have "subscriber" under avatar as forums appreciation of your good will.
Others may ask what is this "subscriber" all about? Then they may like to contribute themselves.
No big deal, no class destinction. Just honest appreciation going both ways as users and administrators.

Not hits, these are actual visitors to the site each day. I think the uniques are about 60% of those figures.
