Hey mate
Looks as though you're just gunning for the manual - how about responding normally to existing threads rather than starting new ones that have limited contribution to what we're all about?
I've deleted two of your new threads thus far and would hate to have to remove you for potentially the wrong reasons. Just join in the topics, create new ones like you've done if you've got a genuine question and you'll hit the 25 post limit easy - and you never know, you might grow to enjoy the joint and hang around!

^^^what he said. I have also deleted a few of your posts and sent you a PM.
If you want us to help you we have no problem with that but you could at least give us a bit more information, like what model Patrol, what engine etc.

I am currently working up in the torres straits at one of the villages. One of the locals here has a nissan patrol 3 liter petrol. His fuel eletric fuel pump isn't working and i amn trying to fix it for him. he currently has a power straight from the battery to the pump with no fuse which to me is very dangerous. i really need the diagram so i can help him.
sorry to cause trouble

No trouble old mate - just let people know of your issues at the outset and we'll help out wherever we can ... if the pump is dead, I'm not sure if you can do much but replace it with another. The pump should be going through the relay which is located under the bonnet (what model - on GQ's, it is under the plate beside the battery - a green relay). You can test the fuel pump with a multi-meter to see if its acutally dead, or alternatively, you can take the fuel line off below the filter (put a small bottle on the end to catch the fuel if it comes out) and turn the key over briefly a few times to see if fuel comes out. I think (on mine I can) you can take out the transmission relay and plug it into the fuel pump relay slot to test the relay also (obviously you can't drive) ... all of this depends on what model etc, so throw up some details in that space, and I'm certain people on here will be able to point you in the right direction!!
