Not expecting to catch anything, I only took my 2cm pocket knife, which doesn't cut fish as good as a big one, but, in camping, we have to compromise sometimes. lol

I start at 3pm and to rub salt into the 'wound', I've just done a cook up. Bewdiful!!!!! hahahahahah

Nice catch there Rossco...the salmon are great fun on the beach.
We get a fair few all year round down on south coast on the eastern side..lol
I just can stand eating them ......

I've seen a salmon about that si2e landed - went pretty hard, nice fish and well done Rossco!

hmmmmmmmmm, I want a second opinion mate................. where's the proof you caught it hey!!!????/ All I see is an already gutted fish on a table, your fishmonger must have some good stock there mate!!!!!! hahahahahahahaha

I'm pretty sure the line got caught around the tail, coz there was a gash in it and it felt like I was dragging in a lump of seaweed. Got it onshore and it put up a great fight. Had to put on my winching gloves to tame it down. Slippery little sucker! Caught it on a single hook with squid.

Hey Clunk, if you hadda been around at my place last night, you would have tasted the last juicy salmon steak! Oh well, too bad, so sad. lololol
