Hey my swb patrol's left front wheel has a mind of its own when you hit bumps on the road, and moves all over the place i gather this is a most likely a wheelbearing? if so are they easy to replace and expensive to buy or cheap? cheers

You really need to jack up the L/F corner to get the wheel off the ground and diagnose exactly where the movement is coming from, guessing can be time consuming and expensive.
Wheel bearings are relatively easy to replace if you have reasonable mechanical knowledge and hand tools, you need to know how to pack a wheel bearing with grease and adjust the bearings.
I've never had to buy MQ parts but I would expect you could pick up a full set of bearings and seals for around $100.

Normally if the vehicle wonders after hitting a bump, it's suspension related. But re-setting the pre-load on the wheel bearings is good place to start.

I jacked vehicle up to put some bigger wheels and tyres on, checked wheel bearings and they are fine. all the ball joints look iffy and the spring hanger rubbers are badly worn. the left hand wheel has a mind of its own so its a serious problem it goes where ever it wants while the right hand wheel does the right thing. going to take it to pedders for a full check during the week (only costs $14) and they will tell me whats the main thing causing the problem http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=269410763088718&set=a.269410726422055.82285.100000593905427&type=1&theater

Check ya u bolts, track rod ends and steering dampner, you may even have a broken centre bolt on the front left leaf spring.
