2006 td42 vacuum pump tips

Need new vacuum pump. Looking for tips and maybe a manual to help install.
Mechanic said its on way out. Loosing vacuum pressure.
Any help greatly appreciated

Do yourself a favour and check any rubber hoses first as a vehicle of that age is likely to have perished hoses as well.
