Hello guys!
Did a search and there's no post on this.

Replacing engine mounts on an '98 GU, Y61 RD28t. Its a European, GR. Left hand drive, manual.

How do you go about exactly, when you replace all the engine mounts on this?
how many mounts is it?
Do you need to remove just the mount bolts, or does anything else have to get out of the way?
Do you lift one side first and then the other, or do you lift it straight up? Do you lift is as high as it possible goes? or just so the bolts are just about clear? Do you remove the inner fenders and go in from there? or do you best reach everything from underneath the vehicle? Heelp!

If anybody got details on this, I would be immensly happy about that.

Hi.
Not the same engine, but when I replaced mine on a TD42, I have used an engine hoist to support the engine weight and lift it a bit. I have reached the bolts from under the car and from the wheel-well as well. The TD42 engine mount has a horse-shoe shaped restrainer that required some patience to get past that part.
