Foot Rest GUII

Hi all,

I am trying to reinstall the foot rest on my Manual GUII patrol, The captive bolts in the floor are very loose, is that normal??

any tips?

Mine are the same. I wrapped some plumbers thread seal tape on the floor mounted bolts and this helped a little.
It annoying as once the thread in the foot rest caps are damaged repairing them or replacing with another part is impossible. They seem unique to their application.
