Welch plug or head gasket GQ ‘89

Hey guys

My car overheated after a drive and steam went all over the joint, upon checking the radiator is blown up and there’s a big coolant leak just above the oil filters.
The oil looks fine, not milky or anything, could I have just done a core plug causing loss of coolant and then broken my radiator?

Engine still runs good without any smoke.

G'day, if it's a diesel ( I'm guessing here ) it sounds like the oil cooler is your culprit.

Grab a manual. You'll need to get it off to be sure.

Happened to mine, wasn't diagnosed 'til rebuild.
