Hi, I got myself a 98 GU 4.5L ST wagon about 4 weeks ago and have done a couple of solo trips out into the rough stuff to get back into the groove. I owned a couple of 4wd's since I was 17 but sold my last which was a GQ SWB to a mate when my first child came about 6 years ago.
Since then I have been getting my mud fix on a trail bike but now I am well and truly back into the world of 4wdriving (the bike is still in the garage though).
The GU is pretty stock at the moment but I'd be keen to meet up with people for some trips as I'm a bit short of 4wd owning friends. I live in the Wollongong area of NSW and my kids are pretty good travelers so I am not too fussed by a bit of travel to do trips.
