Injection pump sprocket leak (RD28ETI, GU Y61 1999)

Heya!,

So i was replacing my timing belt, and noticed that the injection pump was leaking.

I'm 99% sure its the seal at the very front. But i noticed that there's a yellowish looking something at back of the cone that covers the shaft. Could that possibly be another seal? Photo's below.

Have you downloaded the service manuals? I have had a bit of a look through them to see if there is an exploded view of that pump, but i haven't found it yet.

Yeah i had a look though the nissan pdf ones, couldnt see anything about a seals/gaskets.

However, i just tried my Haynes one, it does show a gasket, which could be what im looking at. Looks like i might have to remove the whole pump to get at it though.

From memory, I read that it is important to follow the right procedure when removing and installing the pump so you get the timing right.
