Hey guys, the names Alan. My father-in-law owns a farm and theres an old red 1993 Ford Maverick TD42 (im told its a nissan patrol gq just rebadged) thats been sitting there unused for years. We chucked in a new battery and she starts up first try. Honestly shocked.
Original intentions were to just take her apart and learn more about the car, because its broken anyway right? Whats the harm
But now seeing as she started right up, i want to take a more 'loving' approach and make sure i get it right
Any tips, tricks or words of wisdom will be much appreciated. I know next to nothing and going to look at engine oil change, coolant flush, all the easy stuff first
Will post some photos shortly
cheers
