My names Michael, I'm looking at getting a patrol for my first car. With my budget, I'll probably get a TD42 GQ, restore/fix anything myself, and kit it up for touring. Got a few mates who know a lot about cars so hopefully I can keep the costs down by being taught doing the work with them. I'm Excited to read through the forums, learn new things and maybe get to know some of you guys.

Welcome mate. a GQ TD42 is a bloody great first car. Note they are a bit of a Money machine. the more you use it the more you want to mod it the more you use it and around and around we go until you have dropped a house deposit on building a great car. lol Stay out of Muddy Bog Holes! They are full of $100 notes!!
