Nissan Patrol ST Y61 2011 Turbo Noise - wastegate solenoid valve needed

On start up my Nissan Patrol ST Y61 2011 makes a weird screechy noise. Our mechanic has advised it is to do with the turbo.

He has tried to source a wastegate solenoid valve for a VSI turbo however it seems they are sold as a complete set and will cost around $2000.

Can any of the brains trust in here suggest a solution that wont require me having to buy a complete new turbo? Can the solenoid valve be bought on its own?

I got money possibly on the exhaust manifold being warped or the egr pipe has split, as both are pretty common issues with the CRD.

The issue has been fixed. This is after two local mechanics having NO idea how to fix the problem and charging me to do things with the actuator which in the end had nothing to do with the noise. In fact the first mechanic had me buy a new actuator then he simply screwed it on. This resulted in the vehicle losing all power and not accelerating above 40 km/h.
I had to have it towed to Bundaberg where Robbie from Diesel Injection Technology Pty Ltd found the issue within 10 minutes.
Turns out the 2 x studs for #1 exhaust port had snapped off. So the remaining bits of stud were drilled out and removed/replaced. They then skimmed the manifold and reassembled with the appropriate gaskets.
The Patrol now sounds like new and runs extremely well.
Lesson learned is to not go to general mechanics and take the vehicle to a diesel specialist.
