The Brunswick Diesel conversion uses a PowerTrain DGPT100 glowplug timer. Mine has died and am struggling to find an Australian supplier. Anyone out there have knowledge as to where I can buy 2 units?
Alternately a recommendation on an alternate? There is an OLEX unit however 3 times the cost and no doubt probably not a direct plug and play unit.
I read on the forum there was a guy who used one for a ZD30 replacement, was avail from Repco however they dont stock it anymore.

OK, I finally have found the source for this Power Winch DGPT100 Glow Plug Timer, took a lot of digging and arm twistimg to find the Australian Agent and new owner of the design and manufacture. This will be of direct benefit to anyone with a Brunswick Diesels V8 Chev conversion.
The agents are Power Train Electronics ph 03 9764 0330.. Cost is $45 each , direct bank transfer only. I have purchased 3 units as they are only manufactured in small runs.

I use the OEX universal glow plug timer. I see they're around the $150 mark now. Converting from TB45 to TD42 meant no existing glow plug circuit so this was best option at the time.
It's been working well over the last 10 years set at 6 seconds full glow (QLD remember) then after glow is 6 x 1 second on 1 second off. Easily adjustable on the box itself.
When engine is warm and restarted without waiting, it detects the starter wire signal and switches straight to after glow sequence.

Thanks John, I was after a plug and play replacement, so pursued the Powertrain unit. I do have a unit you mentioned, just too lazy to work it out or take it to the auto elec, mainly because there is no wiring diagram for this conversion and the loom is not documented - maybe I should have some faith in the electrical trades?
