Out of control mate! I can only think most mods (whoever they are nowadays?) are still away on holiday

It's mostly bots these days that just links onto sites like ours to try and gain more organic rankings of their own sites but its pretty much a waste of time and does zero to help them.

What about those "click here if you are human" things upon registration?

Yeah we've got the image word verification thing but they just seem to bypass that.
Some could be humans too.

With a bit of browser script, you can by-pass them altogether.
That's how all these random AI bots flood forums and sign-up for site accounts and manage to spam everything in their path.

How about a bit of white text that directs bots to a bogus thread that doesn't show up for regular members?

:hijacked: :offtopic:I don't know about that Plassy aka "Dancing with Breadmakers", the Parkinson's is slowly getting to the annoying stage and affecting my brain and movement more, still not as bad as it could be though.
Good news is that I have reached retirement age and on the old buggers pension........bad news is that I am still working 10 hours a week to keep the brain working sort of.
Best news is that in June this year I become eligible for my long service leave from Andy, 15 years of baby sitting and trying to educate a certain few members here, and I need it.
Take care old mate:cheers:

Haha, “Dancing With Breadmakers” - made me smile Doggy. That was an epic night for sure. Take care and enjoy retirement. I’m sure Andy will pay you double rates to work through it. Maybe even throw you a few of the latest patrol magazines, spare wheel bags and that elusive rooftop bag.

Honestly, no bread maker was harmed in the production of possibly the most debauchest (is that a word) night of not only mine, but possibly multiple members and their affiliates lives here. There were some here lucky to survive the night in fact. Our fearless leader was moments from expiration not only on the night but for the next 48 hours, the Pooh was cactus, Jack, Stropp, Roofy and Doggy there guiding on the uninitiated into hell. Pizza dough flying everywhere. Ham, flour, cheese strewn absolutely everywhere around the pizza oven. I got up next morning and half an hour later had to go down again before I fell. Krisso probably should be on Interpol’s most wanted list with his moonshine. So many other stories and angles covered by other news networks that I didn’t capture. Man what a night. If only I could remember it.
