We’ve all been there. You’re out camping, the rain’s been pissing down and all the firewood is waterlogged so there’s no camp fire. Or your barby just ran out of gas half way cooking the chops and the missus is up you because now you’ve got a bunch of hungry kids and only a tub of Nuttelex and 63 cans of Jim Beam in the Esky.

What are you going to do?

Vic High Country Door Dash of course! These legends saved the day!

Watching vids like that takes me back to my younger days when tearing through the VHC on a 250cc 2 stroke was not only frightening, but exhilarating. Blasting up those mighty hills, hanging on for dear life in 3rd gear powerband. So much fun.

Reminds me of a broken collar bone !!!!!!

Haha! Yep. Two busted fingers, a wrist that was smashed to bits and a punctured gut from the handlebars, with a bike that was unrideable in the aftermath is my reminder why i shouldn't ride trail bikes anymore. Plus i'd just fall apart now. But bloody hell i miss it.

I have no shortage of gas, butane canisters are cheaper than beer and sometimes I find 1/2 full ones that others have thrown away.

Also usually don't have signal where I go :)
