I got a phone call today about 10 in the morn (on night shift, woke me up..) Lovells springs i have ordered were going to take forever to come in. Opted to go dobsons instead for $30 more all up. After a hour more of snoozing, I reaised what I have done in my hazy phone call, still half asleep, have I made the right decision with the dobsons? or should I have waited for the lovells?
any opinions? Will post pictures of install process if any one is interested.

I had Dobsons coils, Rancho shocks.... 4" suspension lift ( dobsons ), 2 inch body ( Macquarie 4x4 in Syndney ), could not fault the Dobsons coils, Only took the lift out as I had kids........they are sitting it the shed at the moment and i just can't part with them, hopefully they will be going back in by the end of the year :)
Trust me mate, u won't regret your hazy phone call
Cheers

Don't know if you 'have' to as such, but I would - you may find the steering wheel needs centering also (get them to centre the steering box first, then steering arm adjustment if you have an adjustable rod to centre the steering wheel).

All right.. I got to work this weekend to put my new suspension in. It took 7 hours but it is in. My front left shock was a bugger to get out, ended up using a plumbers pipe wrench to hold it still to undo the bottom bolt. My mate then beat it to death with the biggest hammer on hand. Other than that pretty smooth. As soon as it was finished, took it for a test drive on the road then through medowie forest and all that I can say is WOW! what a difference.
