I had it back to its old self and now its come back again.

I think its just getting smashed with bots and AI attacks now.

Yep. I've started reporting spammers now too. What solutions are there to rid ourselves of them? More stringent joining protocol? Could you reinstate sponsorship and pay for an auto system?

Is a little better since I originally posted but still not great. But is doing some weird crap as well.

I suspect it is more than that. When it is slow, it tells me there are no new posts using the 'no intros' option, but they are there if I click on 'new posts'.

I think you are right. I've just completely blocked out some more IP ranges so we'll see this goes as well.

Sorry guys it’s still slow as, I’m trying to work it out.

It’s the database connection and im getting out of my depth with diagnosing unfortunately:(

Noticed big improvement when I logged on around midday, takes say 1.5sec to get a "log on" to this page instead of 30+seconds.
So u done well AB _ hope it holds together mate.
