I developed a dual shocker kit for the front of my GQ LWB to temper the deceleration of the extra mass from the engine conversion and other stuff up front. It took a while to configure and is basically two GQ Front Tower mounts welded together, and runs 2 Koni Hydraulic shockers. The Koni's are great for their adjustability and are suited to a 2" lift. The tower of the spring tower does require the shocker hole to be enlarged to suit the extra shocker, and you will need to fabricate the lower shocker mount - my lower mounts were a welded affair and I simply cut them off when I decided to return to a single shocker config for VASS engineering.

So the shockers have maybe 10,000klm on them, have had them a while will all adjust to the 5 setpoints. There is some jinking around to set this up, and the clearance off the rim is a focus as is the bracket to the tire, so its not a plug and play affaire. The assy worked really well and controlled the front end to my satisfaction. You cant buy anything like this on the market. Asking $250 pick up Knoxfield which includes the 4 Konis and the twin shocker mounts.

Just out of curiosity, how are those Konis adjusted?

Just out of curiosity, how are those Konis adjusted?

The shocker is laid on its side, then compressed to the bottom, then you start by rotating the body to the left to start the adjustment, from then rotate to the right and there are 5 click detents that are positively felt. Setting 1 is a soft ride, 5 is rock hard. I ran the shockers on setting 2. I think it works by rotating out of alignment some orifice plates to make it harder for the oil to travel one way to the other. Setting 1 they are aligned in a straight line and 5 spiralled out of alignment. Then you extend the shocker and install.
