Issue with 'no new posts' when there are some

I access the forum daily from my Windows 10 PC with the following:
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=2amp;contenttype=vBForum_Post
It usually behaves as it should, but recently I sometimes get the 'no new posts' message but when I access the 'Forum' link on the page and click on 'New Posts' there are several new posts (not counting the excluded posts). This does not happen every time - maybe a few times a week.
Any one else?
Is it a forum issue or something in my setup?

I've found I've been directed to the 'post in last 24 hours' link page, a lot more recently too. The forum has been slower to load and also quite a lot of "error" pages pop up and I have to reload a page. But this has only happened since we had maintenance on our local towers. Our internet is a lot slower, so it is probably a combination of both playing up.

I think it started when AB swapped over to a different model. It seems the number of active posts are either automatically purged or are being limited by moderation.

Ive noticed it too, the server is being upgraded soon so lets see if that fixes it.

Definitely not purging or moderation - the 'new' posts are there when I click on 'New Posts' - at least for me.
I have also noticed the slow response and a significant number of errors.
