Hi all - found this great forum whilst hunting for info on a possible 4by purchase.

I'm a cub scout leader, father to two boys, and an avid camper. After abusing a Mazda Tribute for a while, then swapping to a Commodore for work, I've finally convinced the financial controller that it's time to get a real 4WD.

Having two brothers that both work on mine sites and drive Landcruisers, I've decided that a Patrol might be a better choice.

So I'm here seeking advice, and possibly even a vehicle if the classified can offer something up.

I live in rural/remote WA and I decided between a T...... and a Patrol, because, most people in the bush around where I live, drive either one of them, some/most bush mechanics know what they're doing and talking about and know how to fix them and ease of parts - sometimes without paying the big freight costs!.

I did my homework and decided what I wanted from my trol - eg space, needs and purposes, ect.
