Hi all, just wanted to say g'day. Long time lurker, first time to post. I got my GQ TB42 about 7 years ago off a fella that couldn't pay me for work I'd done for him. Pleasing to the eye but I quickly found out it had cooling issues which were not easily solved. It then had injector issues (dual fuel) so it was parked up for about a year until I had the patience to dive back in. Turned out the cooling problem was head related which drove me to give the Barra swap a go. It's just about done and planning to drive Cairns to Tasmania the long way round as soon as I'm confident I haven't missed anything in the swap.

Glad to be back (almost) in this ol beauty. Have always had a soft spot for the GQ even through all the face palms and headaches this one has provided.

I'm not huge on taking pics but will upload a few for anyone who may be keen to see.

Thanks for providing a bloody handy page to learn from, looking forward to joining the conversations.

Cheers, Pat
