Hi everyone!
I’ve just arrived in Perth, new in Australia. I am looking at buying a patrol, 2006 3L turbo diesel. I have no mechanical knowledge or experience, I just want a reliable car to do lots of remote beach camping (I like kitesurfing 😃) I was looking at this forum and found some information about these engines sometimes being unreliable. Would you advise me to continue the sale or should I look at another model?
It has these things:
Aftermarket inter cooler with Daws needle valve, catch can, safe tune, boost and EGT gauge. Anything else I should add if I would buy the car? And anything in particular I should look at when doing the inspection? (I will definitely bring someone with me that has more experience)
