Hello, hello!

Well its finally happened, here I am, standing in the company of giants!

Those that know will know its been a long time coming. Everyone else, well hello there, I'm Lucas!

I'm back to learn from this amazing Forum and all its wonderful members, to be inspired by the many projects both large and small, and hopefully inspire others together while we journey to fun, freedom and the pursuit of happiness brought to us by our patrols.

....and of course a big shout out to AB who continues to make these connections possible. Thanks mate, its been too long, warm me up something in your travel oven!

Lets get into it.....

They’ll be 2” King springs paired with the Koni Raids which can’t go 3” (same as my squishy setup). I love the Raids.

Such a great vehicle you’ve landed mate!

Yeah cool, it probably just seemed higher to me because of the tyres. Is there any way of knowing what the Raids are set to without removing?

Don’t think so mate. Maybe ask the previous owner if he knows? I think I set mine about half way originally but I’ve never adjusted them after that.

How do I tell what series it is? Rego shows 2001, under the bonnet plate says built may 2000.

Can you post a pic of your turbo crossover pipe? I think there’s a minor difference between the S1 and S2. S1 looks like it has a pressure valve on it and S2 doesn’t is my understanding.

What a wonderful view! With the amount of Aussie content I see when looking for Patrol content online, this makes me feel really curious about driving on the beach. Unfortunately over here beaches are not considered roads like they are for you folks. A run on the beach here, if caught, could end up even in jail. Crimes "against the nature" here are heavier penalized than against humans. Seems odd and it is, but it is true.

What?? Crimes against nature don’t include Amazon clearing?? There’s not much damage to a beach by driving along it but it’s not normal here in Australia either. Only a minority of beaches here can be driven on, not common.

Not for the ones friends with the power... Here the full weight of the law is only for regular citizens... it is called 3rd world for a reason..

But, enough rant! What it matters is that driving on the beach seems cool as it can be and I am learning a lot about that from Molly Dixon. MB approved I recon!

They even say that all road rules apply for beach driving ie: no drunk driving, speeding, must be licenced etc etc. This was on the west coast of Tassie though where the beaches can get pretty dangerous to drive on. I was happy to chug along with my td42 in ideal conditions but it's usually the play ground if tb48s, LS Conversions and all manner of turbo petrol power [emoji28]
