Hey all - new to the forum and currently chasing some starting/fuelling issues with a 2005 td42ti. When it is left to sit for a while, it has to crank over a lot before she'll fire up. Not sure if this is a pump issue, or all the electrical gadgets on the pump preventing it from starting straight away.

Hoping to learn a few things from others that have been through this before. Ideally if we can chase the problem down and do a simple fix that would awesome - but if its going to be a more expensive fix, then prefer to convert to manual pump.

Welcome to the forum Cyril, you may want to post this in its own thread somewhere outside of the intro section as a lot of people don't read the intro's.

Hopefully a simple fix, try also following the fuel line all the way back to the tank for any leaks, etc.
