Shocking Fuel Economy

i own a 1989 GQ ute leaf sprung TD4.2 with a stock tank and crusing on 110 on highway roads im only getting about 350ks to a full tank.

just wondering what everyone else gets and if this little ks is normal for a ute with 420xxx on it.

I get about 15L/100kms with a retuned 3.0L crd

Educate me mate, what fuel capacity does a GQ have? My GU 4.2TD does around 13-14l/100km with 125l capacity so about 900km range.
