Well home now after a trip to nojee with some friends that I normally do the high country trip with.

Stayed near the tooronga falls..

Did the 2 hour return walk to the falls well worth it. We got rained on Saturday night, but only during cooking and eating, cleared up to a nice night and a clear blue sky on Sunday morning. Once again we took the long way home an the wife drove to Matlock, woods point and onto Jamison. Quick luck stop and onto Mansfield top up with some fuel and on to home.http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2023/07/33.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2023/07/34.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2023/07/35.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2023/07/36.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2023/07/37.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2023/07/38.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2023/07/39.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2023/07/40.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2023/07/41.jpg

Nice mate. I'd to get Catherine out more but sleeping in a swag she's not all keen on.

But the swag is so much warmer to sleep in than in a tent. Maybe I'll get something like yours one day for the warmer months. She might go with that.

We have always been winter campers.

I recently updated my sleeping arrangement, mainly to accommodate my wife. She's always enjoyed camping, but she now feels the cold alot more and my gear was starting to get on in age. We now sleep warm and comfortable. The new gear is here somewhere in the forum.

Thought about a cheap diesel heater? Someone I know uses one in a rooftop tent and it makes for a much happier missus. Also adds a 'T' sometimes to put a second hose into a swag. Just pokes the hose through an almost closed opening. Nice and warm and it also stops the condensation. Draws about 10A on startup (glow plug) then less than 1A running.
