Hey guys

I bought a patrol on auction today and I will be going to collect it in a few days. Just wondering what you guys think of my purchase and any obvious mods you can see that have been done as the auction listing was very limited and I wasnt able to inspect it in person.

Looks like its lifted but I'm not sure what the stock height looks like.
Just wondering what everyone thinks of the new toy.

Paid 20k for her which I think was a good deal with 208000km on the clock.

Looks pretty good, eng is stock from first glance, needs a replacement intercooler_rear crimped tank showing signs of leaking"oil residue" get a TIG welded job.

Maybe has 2" lift.

Free advice buy:
Catch Can Provent 200 as good investment.
Gauges _ EGT and Boost.
Scan tool OBD11 port compatible (for engine monitoring and able to manage fault / trouble codes).

No more when you have her running _ looks like it has had a charmed life.

Think the rear bar is made down in the Morning Peninsula, Vic
If the same, checked them out over 10 yrs back but they needed veh for a week and I live NSW. H/lift jack locators (SHS profile cutouts) in sides.

Drop by intro section and say G'day _ welcome.

yeah I noticed the intercooler too. sounds like an easy enough fix though right?

Gauges and catch can are great ideas, already got the OBD scan tool.

Looks really clean from the photos and is currently registered so I'm hoping its a winner.

So many options available, depends on budget, plenty of info on here and yes if a direct replacement (size for size) just bolts to existing OEM frame, secure the 2 boost hoses and MAP sensor. Consider the boost take off "refence" location and install method you choose.

Drop in and do the intro thing mate.
