Nissan GQ patrol RB30S

Hi everyone, chasing any info and parts and components for the RB30S, looking for spare parts for the Dizzy and more, but not having to much luck, i can get an EFI kit setup used but would that allow me to run the VL commy Dizzy or will it not matter, thanks

Welcome to the forum. I haven't done the EFI conversion. (Never will as I believe in keeping it simple) But here is some info on the conversion.

There might be slight differences between the Nissan and Holden set up. Things like needing a resistor for the Coil or the like. Hopefully someone in the know will respond to your question.

thanks mudnut, even if i can find the parts to keep the original going id be happy with that, but i cant find any replacements for the RB30S and even fuel sendor units are like trying to find a needle in a haystack
ive got a decent list of parts i need to get unless i can get another vehicle the same to transfe

either that or try find a TB42 version and upgrade the entire running gear which will be interesting to do

ive had a look at what they have left, but there isnt much with this type of engine parts, ill have to keep an eye out unless i can find another vehicle to use as as a donor car

Try Readies 4x4 in Bendigo. They specialise in the ZD30 to TD42 conversions and usually have old GQs lying around.

ohh nice, ill deffently look into that, will help me heaps, unless i do a conversion of my own choosing
