Licola 2023 - BOOK HERE - 21st to 24th July 2023 Houses 1 to 6

It's that time of the year again, YAY!!!

We are booked in to the Licola Wilderness Village from Friday 21st July to Monday 24th July

We may need to pay up front so can I please get numbers down ASAP so I can book it in with them so can you please vote above.

We stay in 2, 3 and 4 bedroom cabins with double beds, bunk beds, etc.

Each cabin has toilets and showers, etc. Some have fridges and a huge dedicated cabin with all the appliances and cutlery to suit hundreds of people, tables and chairs, etc and a huge fire pit for us to enjoy!

This is a very family orientated trip, kids are more than welcome and usual there are dozens of kids coming, they LOVE IT!

There are playgrounds, trampolines, etc at the facility.

2022/2023 General Accommodation Prices

$48.40 per adult per night (16+)
$29.90 per child per night (5-15 years)
Under 5’s free
$120 cabin minimum charge per cabin per night (1-2 people only)
Family Discount- $139 for 2 adults and up to 4 children (5-15 years).



The other issue is we can do individual payments but each person must contact them and make their own individual booking and payment no later than 7 days prior to arrival.

All depends on how much snow there is. Last year there was bugger all, the year before we were driving in sections that were over a foot deep. Having said that. That weekend (might have been the year before)there was those two late model Toyota Corolla's heading up towards Arbuckle and they were just plowing through the deep snow without a care.

Bring your X-trail, put some AT's if you want, drive up the mountain, if it gets to slippery and dangerous, we'll either tow you from there, or, park the car, jump out and hop in with someone else. for the rest of the trip.

Sorry, but Pearcey wont be there this year. Stop the cheering LOL.
One,has other commitments so instead of getting bogged and you guys getting your winch cables dirty I`ll be climbing up and down water tanks windmills and other structures helping a mate put in some fourty odd cameras, and monitors on a property up north here in SA.
I`ll be having a couple of coldies and thinking of you folk .
Well maybe the coldies ,not to sure about the thinking.

Well as usual we had an absolute blast. Perfect weather, not a massive amount of snow but still enough.
Getting to see the Pinacles was epic. I can say that this place has the biggest and best views of our beautiful VHC, period.

Yeah I think it will. Hope it doesn’t though. I will be there whenever it’s on.
Me and AB were talking about next shindig at the last meet. Prices are getting up there bla bla bla.
I suggested that we simply set a date, and everyone just makes their own bookings and we then go up and enjoy the company of one another like we always do.
While I don’t mind taking payments from everyone and paying the booking as one, I’m happy to do it if it means we all get together, but, it was a logistical nightmare for me and especially AB to orchestrate it.

But I’m keen nonetheless. I can’t make it to the Simmo trip so I’d really love for this to continue as a tradition.
