2012 CRD. Whats the fuel injector life?

I'm just curious. I've done 250K and never given them much thought. I have run injector cleaner through twice a year. I don't know if that helps but as long as it doesn't do any harm.....

Next question. Is it a big job and is it worth doing it as a preventative measure? I've hear they have to be re-synched to the ECM?

I probably wouldn't worry until something is a miss personally, I'm near the 220k mark. I've had to replace the return line a couple of times because it goes brittle.
