Welcome to the forum. What RPM is the engine starting to miss at? If the ignition system is standard and you have the correct rotor button, it may be operating at a lower RPM as the springs that hold the counterweight may be slack or one has broken. Glad to see that it is a dedicated system as dual systems are harder to diagnose.

It is cutting out at 3,500-4,000rpm

Apart from the rotor button, I think a dyno tune with the proper test equipment will be the best way to determine what is going on. It is impossible to tell how lean or rich gas runs because of the lack of smoke. The rotor button is designed to be a rev limiter, so weak springs lowers the rev range. Have you checked the distributor, spark plug and coil leads? Also any pipes and hoses for splits cracks or loose connections.

EGTs will go some way to diagnosing this. Basically if you wind up boost you're leaning out the mix. Temps will go up and up and up as you lean out until you're at peak. Leaning further than that will cause EGT to drop again and eventually starve/ stall out. It sounds like you're running enough air to get to the "stall out"

I'm not at all familiar with LPG in vehicles but would assume you could get an adjustable regulator (as seen on oxy-acetylene welding gear) to feed it more. Or drill out the actual gas jets (very fine drills required)...
