Hello!
My Patrol came with a Pro Guard PR-100 from Cell-Auto thing installed. Dropping that image on google translator, it says it is an anti-theft device of some sort.

It is a domestic Japanese product, so my google searches are useless. As a matter of fact, the only useful thing I found was this image.
So, I would like to ask the help of some Japanese forum member, if you could please run some searches of that product in google.co.jp using the Japanese language. I am looking for installation guide/installation manual and/or user guide/user manual. The manuals will be in Japanese for sure as it is a domestic product, but I suppose with the illustrations and some help from google translator and other people I will be able to figure out what I need.

So, if you are Japanese can you lend me a hand with this please?

The closest I found was this.
http://www.go.tvm.ne.jp/~volvo965/car/car/pr-100.html

I used Google Chrome to translate it for me. To be honest I think you would be better off either buying a better anti theft device or hiding a kill switch in the cabin somewhere than this. As far as I can tell, this totally relies on the two movement sensors alone.

Wow! Thanks mate! How have you done it? Over here, even if I type google.co.jp, Google itself present me with everything in English.

As for the actual use of the device, no worries. Who in a lucid mind would trust a anti-theft device for a no-theft/no-crime country to be effective in a high-crime/high-theft country? :devilred: Car thieves here have post-doctorate in their line of business, LOL.

The thing is, I can't for the sake of me, throw it away without knowing what it does and what I could use it for other then the original design purpose. Specially that I am still tracing the looms to see if it is anyway is cutting ignition signal or etc. It is definitely getting a domestic Brazilian system.

Firefox is my default browser, but it transalation add-on is garbage. So I use Google Chrome for that. I searched for cell-auto pro guard pr-100 and then flicked over to an image search as sometime you will get different results. And I did. :)
