4.8 engine rattle on cold start

I have a 4.8 with 230k on it and it has a rattle when on clod start.can anyone recommend a good mechanic around the Caboolture area to get the valve adjustment done

Assuming it has adjustable rockers for the valves...it's a pretty straight forward job. Anyone with a feeler gauge, spanner and screwdriver can do it.

Could has hydraulic tappets and rattle is caused by lack of initial oil pressure? Or tappets worn out...

TB48 have shims on the valve spring buckets & usually tighten up so I don't think the rattle would be there, maybe cam chain hydraulic adjuster or something, does the oil light go out quickly?
