G’day all… Recently purchased a 2010 GU… will be getting it ready for an extended touring trip up through The Kimberley’s… ordered a Kaymar rear bar yesterday, although expecting about a 3-4 month wait!
First question if I may… looking for good options for replacing the horn?… the standard one just doesn't do any justice, sounds like a hatchback!

Welcome to the forum mate. Yes I agree with the horn. For a large vehicle the squeak just sounds wrong. I have a couple of ebay cheapies that have a deeper note. The Ford horn is also a deep note.

Stick your head near the window, but don't extend past it, and yell out "WTF". LOL
Seriously, I have no answer.

Fair question Chad Mate [emoji106][emoji106]
I’ve personally had zero luck shifting wayward beasts off highways with the likes of LaCucaracha, Dixie and even old school mechanical OOGA.
Best to store some air in a tank diverted off your air lockers to properly train horn the lost lonesome Wildebeests [emoji23]

I've had one of these in our Patrol for around 10 years now. Plenty loud enough & once fitted no more embarrassment from the feeble standard offering. Easy to fit & can keep original horn too. They are a copy of a well known/well thought of more expensive brand (can't recall the name) & I wondered if it was a mistake to buy the 'copy'. No regrets about having done so. Comes with a relay. The fact that a decade later they are still available on ebay says a lot.

G'day Cuppa, cheers for the recommendation. I'll check it out but from what I see looks straight forward and simple.
