Hi, I decided to dive into some of the wiring on the 2006 coil cab I've just purchased. Some is obvious and some I have no idea about. Can anyone tell me what this is and what brand?
Cheers.

Hi mate, looks like an alarm module maybe? After market 8f it is. From the photos I cant really make out what wires are going where though? Is that a big white loom plug going into it? Where in the car is it? Under steering column?

Thanks for reply. I'll try to find out where some of the wires go. There is 4 white plugs connected to it. Yes it located under driver's side dash.

Is it possible that it is part of an after market cruise control?

I reckon there are way too many wires for either cruise or alarm. And those red & black power wires are quite solid indicating significant power requirements. Interesting.

Could it be flasher module for warning signage lights ?
Ex mining or industrial vehicle ?
My older previous patrol had a very similar box and it used to control those signs like the traffic control cars have or the oversize pilot cars .
Also could it be one of them electronic rust preventing doodahs? Just brainstorming here.

I'm picking after-market central locking unit.

MudRunnerTD could be right. I did some more digging and found a small hidden push button connected to it. More likely to have that on an alarm module.
