Hello there,
I m the owner of 99 2.7TD patrol 260 utilitarian edition (merca) 220 000km
My plan is to slowly build a nice overlander to travel across europe and maybe more.
Here is a quick to-do list for the patrol :
-Mastervac
-locking hubs
-rust patching
-gearbox rebuild
-tyres and suspension
-inside furniture and many more i guess

Right now i'm stuck changing for manual hubs. I bought a used set of hubs, one side fits like a glove but the other shaft seems to be a different size and my hub won't fit.
I have a C200 solid axle and i wonder if one half axle had been replaced with one from a H233. Could it fit but not be the correct one ?
Cheers

Welcome! Interesting car. By the white windows I assume it was an ambulance?

Thanks for the welcome !
It wasn't an ambulance, it 's just the commercial version of the patrol sold at least in France and built in spain. 2 seats, no window on the sides and an empty space at the back. Mine is actually a special version called "Coconut" but i have no clue what's special about it !
The first "owner" was the Water Services of Paris. Are there many 260 in Australia ? I see a lot of Y60 but not many 260. I can't find the manual either.
